Very excited to announce that I've sold two short stories in the last two weeks. And they're two of my favorites :) First up is Rainbows and Death Machines, which was selected as a finalist in SQ Mag's annual Story Quest Contest. This is my second story with SQ Mag (Fairest Fowl was a finalist in the 2012 Story Quest Contest) so obviously I like these guys. Looking forward to that one appearing in an upcoming edition of the e-mag (I'll post it here when I have the edition).
| Second story sale is Three Penny Raven, this first of several stories I've written about Captain Phinnaeus Crowhammer and his eclectic crew. I love these characters and this story so it was great to find this story a home with Geminid Press. Look for this one in their upcoming Space Opera Anthology. I've got a few other short stories on sub so hopefully I'll be back soon with more good news. In the meantime, let me take a moment to give a shout out to the small presses for offering these publishing opportunities to new and upcoming writers. Geminid Press is a small press out of Albuquerque, NM and SQ Mag is run by IFWG Publishing in Australia.
